The West Goshen Township Police Department near Philadelphia issued a press release describing a burglary ring targeting Asian-owned businesses because they generate a large amount of cash and their “lack of support for American banking standards”.
The ring started operating in 2012. There is evidence that the suspects attach magnetic trackers to the victims’ vehicles at their businesses to find out where they live.
The police believe the suspects use GPS jammers due to “the signal loss in the vicinity of the burglarized homes around the time of the burglaries”.
